SHS 44 – Okay31 w/Diopter Sights – Gun Weblog

So on this episode of the Second Hand Showcase we’re wanting a fairly neat rifle. A Swiss Okay31. However not like the pallets and pallets of Okay31’s which have come into the US the previous few years, this one was introduced into the US privately. Earlier than 1968. So it doesn’t have a import mark on it.

However there may be extra. The proprietor of this rifle was a fairly explicit shooter. Whereas in Switzerland, he bought some mannequin particular diopter sights for his Okay31.

It’s my understanding the shooter is getting fairly superior in age and introduced in a lot of his unused firearms on the market.

The specifics:

  • Mannequin: Okay31
  • Motion: Straight Pull.
  • Caliber: 7.5 Swiss (7.5×55).
  • Imported earlier than the 1968 GCA.
  • Unique leather-based sling.
  • 1 Journal.
  • Situation: Used.
  • All matching serial numbers.
  • Aftermarket diopter sight (detachable).
  • Unique diopter guide and inserts.
