A 45-year-old Emmett girl who died Thursday on the Payette River was in a raft that hit one thing and overturned, trapping her and a good friend underwater, a relative instructed the Idaho Statesman.
Invoice Cannon, an Emmett native who lives in Connecticut, recognized the useless girl Friday afternoon as his niece, Misty Cannon.
