Rifle Planet Shoot 2019 Sweden

The Planet Championship in IPSC Rifle 2019 was a good match and a massive results.

Think about 30 stages deep into a lovely forest in Sweden, with not a single berm in sight. At least 1 stage integrated shooting “D Max” (distance maximum) at targets up in the (mainly) blue sky.

Based on your caliber the bullets are going to fly practically three miles beyond the paper target ahead of they hit the ground. Quite spectacular and not anything that is supplied each and every day, specially not in Central Europe or even in the USA.

More than a period of time, we are going to share photos, outcomes and stories from Rifle Planet Shoot 2019.

All the photos are courtesy of Chris Jonkers of Studio BOJO.

History and background: Sweden to host the IPSC Rifle Planet Championship 2019

Beneath: The infamous “moose”. Shooting from there was far from quick. I wonder if any one managed to get all Alpha hits or not?

38 nations have been represented at Planet Shoot Rifle with more than 600 participants. The USA had about 35 of its best shooters in the competitors.

To our understanding, this is the biggest international shooting competitors ever in Sweden. The match director was Roland Dahlman of IPSC Sweden.

Beneath: There have been a handful of junior shooters in the match as nicely.

Beneath: The US and Russian Ladies Group with each other. This was a quite difficult stage, with mini targets out to 70 – 80 yards in the forest. The A zone, to get maximum points, is about the size of a fist so shooters do their very best to discover assistance as an alternative of shooting offhand. You have to remain on or inside the red charge lines, so shooting with a higher bipod was quite difficult.

To be capable to score these IPSC Mini targets they had to be on a lever. This is the Distance Max stage everybody talked about.

Lena Miculek (USA) on stage four. She completed second in the ladies following a really hard battle.

Beneath: A lengthy course, with targets from six to 325 meters. Of course, you had to run 30-40 meters to see the targets furthest away. There have been also a handful of steel targets out in the terrain, so a lot exciting. A good mixture of “run ‘n gun” and lengthy-variety precision.

1 of the handful of no-shoot targets to the ideal (the brown paper).

All the moves from the best shooter are well-liked to document.

In the ladies, there is a new Planet Champion known as Ashley Rheuark (USA). At the prior IPSC Planet Shoot in Russia 2018 Lena Miculek won, and this year it was a race to the final bullet.

On 1 of my no cost days, I followed the USA and Russian Ladies group, and it was a joy to see them compete.
