Left my tent up to dry in the sun this morning and left internet site at 7.30, a bit later than regular as I had a shorter day. Nonetheless more than 450km but on quick A roads with excellent tarmac and even some sweeping bends. About six hours in total followed by 4km of dirt roads to get to my campsite right here much less than 1 hour from the border.
The slightly dodgy double hotdog tasted greater than it looked but I am not certain I will be searching to have anther one particular.
It was nowhere close to as hot nowadays but even so, a swift swim in the lake was essential just before spending the afternoon organizing the subsequent three days.
The “package vacation” has ended. Given that Calais there have been no passport checks, no difficult borders, only two currencies to deal with and most persons I have met in whichever nation have had some level of English.
Tomorrow the “adventure” begins. Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova. All with actual borders and a game of visas, automobile import and export documents, customs, possible language barriers, currency exchange and fickle border guards will commence. No roaming agreement in Belarus either so will not be checking google or other information reliant aps. Can not wait.
Not certain exactly where I will finish up tomorrow. Attempting to uncover campsites is a nightmare. Do not truly believe it is a point in Belarus. I have booked two unique hotels (8€ and €12) respectively so that I have proof of accommodation to the border guards. I also never know how extended the border will take or how excellent the roads are so they 1/three and two/three down the nation to give me selections. But if I uncover a campsite in the ideal spot I will remain accurate to my strategy and camp.
A weblog tomorrow is very dependent on wifi as opposed to telephone information so I will if I can but if not will update as quickly as doable.
