I know video games are kinda antithetical to the notion of receiving outdoors, but there will constantly be days and weekends when you are stuck inside.
Has any person played Far Cry Primal?? It is set in Central Europe in 10,000 BC and you play a hunter/gatherer who has to unite his tribe against a rival tribe — of cannibals!! So far, the game appears to be mainly resource gathering, hunting, primitive weapons crafting, defending against all sorts of prehistoric predators, and terrifying combat with rival tribes. It is a fully “open planet” game and the landscape is stunningly rendered.
It really seriously inspired me to want to get into primitive ability constructing! I am browsing flint knapping kits on the internet and seeking up primitive bow producing.
From time to time a video game can really inspire healthier outside activity!
