  3. Hey @mtnoutdoors & @08H3 . I haven’t organized anything yet, just got busy. I was just talking with @Lurch655 and others about needing to set something up lol. I’m open most weekends starting end of Sept/Oct. I’m happy to host, or point the group to a good spot if need be. Are there any weekends that work good for you all?

  6. Any location preference? We’ve done the Blue River (requires a state fishing license) my place near Davis OK (free), Lake Thunderbird State Park (unsure of the fee) and Fort Gibson Wildlife area. @Rockgod1619 might be able to talk more about the Gibson site. If you know of any other good spots let me know, and we’ll get something pulled together for Oct. for sure.

I’ll be out of state the first weekend in October but other than that I’m pretty open. (as long as it will finally cool down!)

I camp relatively frequently at Cherokee WMA near Ft. Gibson. It’s pretty busy with hunters during main hunting seasons (deer, turkey), but other times is relatively quiet with quite a bit of area to hike, hunt, etc. There is a designated area in which you have to camp, since the rest of it is open to hunting. BUT it’s primitive camping, no RV hookups, electricity, etc.

  9. Looks like the next time I’m going to be able to get out is Oct. 25-27. We’re tentatively going to camp at YMCA Camp Classen, outside of Davis OK. Now to start planning for Nov. What does everyone’s weekends look like? Mine are wide open.
