Mexican G3 | John1911.com Gun Weblog

[ad_1]

This is a followup on the preceding report about the privately owned Valmet in Mexico. Like most collectors, this particular person has a category that interests him. In his case, it is rifles chambered in 308 / 7.62×51.

Which is what lead him trade into the 308 Caliber Valmet to commence with. You can see photos of that story by CLICKING Right here.

Right here he shows us his G3 / HK91 variant. Given that I am not a large HK aficionado, I can not truly inform if this is a semi-auto HK? A complete auto G3? Or perhaps even a CETME copy? If you have any information or evaluation to add, please leave it in the comment section under.

It does appear he is missing a rear receiver pin.

Given that private ownership of firearms in Mexico legally restricted, this rifle is essentially, “black market”. Just like his Valmet. So it could extremely effectively be complete auto.

Thanks to the unnamed gun collector who is sharing with us his gun collection. Mexico is awash in guns. And I’d rather see these rifles in the hands of typical people, alternatively of criminal gangs. At least in his case, he has the capability to defend his property.

Sincerely,

Marky
