Employees at the IERCC are standing by 24/7 to respond to inReach SOS messages by communicating through two-way text with the user in the field to understand about the nature of their emergency, track the device place and coordinate with the correct emergency responders for that special circumstance. In addition, the IERCC confirms that enable is on the way and continually updates the user on the status of the rescue or vital help.
