Climber dies right after fall from cliffs close to Boise

Paramedics worked to revive a man who fell from the Black Cliffs east of Boise on Tuesday afternoon, but they weren’t in a position to save him.

The man fell an estimated 40 feet, according to details posted by the Ada County Sheriff’s Workplace on Twitter.

Emergency personnel have been named to the scene at about four p.m. Tuesday. Initial reports have been that the man fell due to some sort of an gear failure. Other climbers in the location named 911.

Paramedics and deputies administered initial help and CPR.
