(B) Student Practice for Tarp Shelter Lesson

Tarps pitched

Got out on a glorious day for a tiny tarp pitching. (with Helper)

1st was a 8’x10′ silnylon tarp in “A” configuration. Made use of my braided ridge line.

Subsequent was my BCSUA tarp in a diagonal configuration.

Yet another shot of diagonal.

Ultimately a ridge pole setup ( with sullen helper). Made use of my knife to baton off sharp spots on pole to guard tarp.

yet another shot.

I made use of canadian jam knot, lark’s head knot, tautline hitch, two half hitches and sheet bend. Made use of previously produced ridge line with toggles. Made use of produced on web-site stakes.
