There is life soon after Dick’s. At least there is for some former Field & Stream shops. The two in North Carolina that have been bought by Sportsman’s Warehouse have now opened for small business.
We are in the Piedmont Triad this weekend going to the granddaughters and took some time to verify out the Greensboro retailer. It is nevertheless laid out – for now – like the old Field & Stream. Additionally, from my conversation with a retailer employee, a lot of the employees came more than from Field & Stream. That mentioned, they appeared to be delighted with the move.
From an e mail, I have an understanding of the Asheville retailer has opened as properly. The grand opening at each shops will be October 25th and 26th. I’m certain there will be some specials but the retailer employees hasn’t been told what they will be but.
The other factor I noticed was this sign.
The retailer was nevertheless stocked with a excellent deal of Field & Stream branded solutions but as you can see they are clearing it out.
I didn’t take a lot time to verify out rates as this was a run in, run out sort of pay a visit to. I did notice that the gun racks had some substantial open spots. There was a sign saying to anticipate a lot more firearm inventory quickly. I’m guessing that will involve these evil AR-15s now that Ed Stack is gone.
I am delighted with the alter and hope Sportsman’s Warehouse does properly in North Carolina.
