MADRID — Sen. Patty Ritchie, R-Heuvelton, helped supply Madrid-Waddington Central College district with a $50,000 grant for students to tap into the finding out prospective of the fantastic outdoors.
“Permitting our students to commit time finding out in an outside atmosphere has improved student engagement by expanding instruction outdoors the standard 4 walls. The district utilized the funding to upgrade its nature trail and construct the outside classroom.
